It seems to me that upon close examination of your statement, you really have no idea what the true facts about Evolution are saying. In your statement, you conclude, "… the overwhelming verdict is… EVOLUTION." I am afraid that science, when exercised properly, speaks heavily against the theory of Evolution. The evidence does, however, consistently back up the theory of intelligent design, or, as its more commonly known, 'creation'. The biggest and most destructive flaw to the theory of Evolution is its reference to the fossil record. In all, not some, but all, fossils we have found, we have never found a transitional fossil. To make this clearly understood, 'transitional' would refer to a fossil that is an organism literally caught between two known life forms. Perhaps a fish, that is partly a frog. But no, in all our extensive knowledge of the fossil record, not one such fossil has been found.
Darwin in his book, Origin of the Species, or The Preservation of Favored Races in the Struggle for life, admits that a lack of transitional fossils is a flaw in his theory, but says that science will discover in time that there really are transitional fossils. Unfortunately, in all our scientific research, not one such fossil has been found. I do not intend to undermine Darwin's credibility as a noted and capable scientist, I only intend to point out the flaws within his theory. While I do believe that Darwin's pursuit was noble, I think that his out of date, flawed theory needs reform.
To further my case, many noted scientists today are turning toward the explanation of intelligent design as a valid explanation for observable phenomena. Although many scientists continue to hold to this out dated and irrelevant theory due to personal bias, I pray that you will continue to learn and search for the truth in this area.
