The principle of Christian Self Government

Christian Self government is God's plan for man's behavior. Self-government is an essential part of liberty. To have personal liberty is to do what we want, knowing that we are responsible for what we do. If we do something wrong, in our minds we know that we will be responsible for our decisions. I believe that Christian Self Government can be defined as God's Government. God expects us to govern ourselves according to His Law. Despite its name, Christian Self Government is not a selfish government. We do what we know God wants us to do, and we don't do what we know He dislikes. Christian Self Government is a system meant to operate with God's law, not against it. If we choose Christian self-government, we will live happy, fulfilled lives.

The Nature and Importance of Personal Christian Character

Personal Christian Character is very closely related to Christian Self Government. Personal Christian Character defines what our goal, or our "ultimate intention" is for our lives. There are essentially only two choices. Our actions are either for God, or for Satan. Although some might say that their actions serve themselves, they are in reality serving Satan. Unless we are servants of Christ, we are servants of Satan. As a servant of God, our every action must serve God. As Paul said in 1 Cor. 10:31 "…whatever you do, do all to the glory of God…" God expects us to serve Him in all we do. Our Character determines whom we serve in our heart.
