The study of worldviews shows us several things. Not only do we get to study and know our own worldview, but we get to know and understand other worldviews, so that when confronted by them, we know how to properly refute them, and explain why our own worldview is the true worldview. The study of worldviews enhances and broadens our scope of knowledge; all humans have a worldview, whether they are conscious of it or not. Studying worldviews helps us know what our worldview truly is, by bringing it to the light.
