Natural Revelation for the common man

Natural revelation is when one looks at natural things and draws a conclusion from what he sees. One example of natural revelation would be microorganisms such as bacteria. If I were to take a broad look at several different bacterium I would see incredible, almost unimaginable detail. How amazing! When one hears the term "bacteria" he assumes that it refers to germs that cause sickness and death. However, there are "good" bacteria whicomen sickness and death. However, there are "goot the way bacteria move. A typical bacterium has what is called a flagellum, the plural of which is flagella. If the bacterium does not posses flagella, movement is not possible. The movement of substances in its surroundings may cause some motion, but it is powerless to move toward its goal. If you were to magnify a bacterium you would see that the flagellum looks like a tail. Thus, you might think it would move by "wagging" it. However, that is not correct. The flagellum is much more efficient than that. The flagellum is composed of three parts: the filament, the hook, and the basal body. The filament attaches to the hook, a small tube shaped like an "L." The hook slides onto a rod that sticks through the cell wall. This rod, and all the structures that attach it to the cell wall make up the basal body. The rod and hook fit together so smoothly that the hook can actually spin around the rod in circles. When the bacterium wants to move, a series of amazingly complex chemical reactions make the hook spin. Since the filament is attached to the hook it begins to spin as well. The design of this marvelous structure looks remarkably similar to the design of turbines in a jet engine. Imagine! One of the smallest life forms on earth looks and acts like something that took the human mind years of study and hard work to design. Obviously such intricate design that rivals that of a jet engine has a master builder behind it. That Master builder is God. To look at this and assume that it was created by a random series of accidents is absolutely absurd.
