Ann Coulter: Desperate Congresswomen of Hysteria Lane

Ann Coulter has a great piece this week on Nancy Pelosi. It's worth your reading and considering. And, while you're in a political mood, Briefly Put has a piece on the elections recently posted.

Iran... Is anyone serious?

This article from Drudge is scary. At least it is to me. Maybe it's becuase I take half-crazed despot nations seriously. Am I a paranoid freedom-freak? Or is the rest of the world careless... or what? Iran is a threat. That's easy enough. Why don't we do something? A much harder question. The old argument; "do we have the right to police the world?" comes up. The answer? In my book, I don't know. At first glance, no. But, when does a nuclear program of an outlaw nation become a significant threat to my safety that I do something about it? This is why geo-politics are frustrating to me. Also, when do we do something? At the first site of despotism? Or afterwards; perhaps when it's to late...? Once multiple cities are vaporized, whether by dirty, carry-in bombs, or by missles from other nations, it's to late. Some thoughts on the world.... What are yours?

Lyric: Mi Mancherai

Song: Mi Mancherai
Band/Artist: Josh Groban
Album: Closer
Year: 2003

Mi mancherai se te ne vai
Mi mancherĂ  la tua serenitĂ
Le tue parole come canzoni al vento
E l'amore che ora porti via

Mi mancherai se te ne vai
Ora per sempre non so come vivere
E l'allegria, amica mia, va via con te

Mi mancherai, mi mancherai, perchè vai via
Perchè l'amore in te si è spento
Perchè, perchè...
Non cambierĂ  niente lo so
E dentro sento te

Mi mancherai, mi mancherai, perchè vai via
Perchè l'amore in te si è spento
Perchè, perchè...
Non cambierĂ  niente lo so
E dentro sento te

Mi mancherĂ  l'immensitĂ
Dei nostri giorni e notti insieme noi
I tuoi sorrisi quando si fa buio
La tua ingenuitĂ  da bambina, tu...

Mi mancherai amore mio
Mi guardo e trovo un vuoto dentro me
E l'allegria, amica mia, va via con te

Translation thanks to Chiara
I'll Miss You (Mi Mancherai)

I’ll miss you, if you go away
I’ll miss your serenity
Your words like songs in the wind
And Love, that you take away.

I’ll miss you, if you go away
Now and forever I don’know how to live
And joy, my friend, goes away with you

I’ll miss you, I’ll miss you, because you go away
Because the love in you is dead
Because, because...
Nothing it’s gonna change, I know
And inside of me I feel you

I’ll miss you, I’ll miss you, because you go away
Because the love in you is dead
Because, because...
Nothing it’s gonna change, I know
And inside of me I feel you

I’ll miss the immensity
Of our days and nights,us together
Your smiles when it’s getting dark
Your being naive like a little girl

I’ll miss you, my love
I look at myself and I find emptiness inside of me
And joy, my friend, goes away with you

Lyric: February Song

Song: February Song
Band/Artist: Josh Groban
Album: Awake
Year: 2006

Where has that old friend gone
Lost in a February song
Tell him it won't be long
Til he opens his eyes, opens his eyes
Where is that simple day
Before colors broke into shades
And how did I ever fade
Into this life, into this life

And I never want to let you down
Forgive me if I slip away
When all that I've known is lost and found
I promise you I, I'll come back to you one day

Morning is waking up
And sometimes it's more than just enough
When all that you need to love
Is in front of your eyes
It's in front of your eyes

And I never want to let you down
Forgive me if I slip away
Sometimes it's hard to find the ground
Cause I keep on falling as I try to get away
From this crazy world

And I never want to let you down
Forgive me if I slip away
When all that I've known is lost and found
I promise you I, I'll come back to you one day

Where has that old friend gone
Lost in a February song
Tell him it won't be long
Til he opens his eyes
Opens his eyes

Still not sure why I'm linking up to this story. It's hideous, it's wrong, it's not even entertaining. Britney is the biggest loser.

Yesterday's Elections

Well, personally, I'm quite disappointed with yesterday's elections. Sure, I got to vote. w00t! But I sure wasn't expecting that outcome. Democrats now have control in the house, and perhaps the senate. I fear for our nation. It scares me; the extreme left-wing idealogical that is so prevalent in America today.

*groans in frustration*

Mid-Terms

Today is the mid-term elections. So, although you perhaps already have; VOTE! On another note, this is my first election. I'm tickled to be able to finally take part in the most basic fundamental right of free society. On another note, Josh's new album "Awake" came out today. I purchased it at Wal Mart. I'll be listening to it and posting the best songs to the Addison Todd Player over the next few weeks. So, today is a great day for me. ;)

Josh Groban's Awake

Josh's new album Awake is online at AOL music. I've been listening to random tracks. I'll end up buying it on Tuesday when it comes out. Gee... I hope Wal-Mart has it and I won't have to order it....
