New Blogs
And there are plenty of âem! A couple of friends have started Blogging, and I have started a current events blog. Well, the blog is actually going to be contributed to by both myself, and my good friend Harrison Beckmann. The address for that blog is brieflyput.blogspot.com. Hence the address, the blogâs name is "Briefly Put". Hopefully youâll find it interesting, useful, and worth your while to read the thoughts and view of to Christian young people commenting on todayâs culture and society. I live-blogged the Presidentâs State of The Union Address. You can see it at Briefly Put.New Blogs Added:

Prophet
Lately Iâve been reading Frank Perettiâs Prophet for the third time. Itâs amazing. It really is a good book. Itâs about a modern day prophet. Just like a prophet in the Bible, he has to give messages. Hard, tough messages that often people donât want to hear. Every night, (ok, mostly every night) my family gathers âround to read a chapter in the Bible, and pray. Reading Prophet reminds me of when we read the book of Jeremiah. Jeremiah had a really tough time. He gave the same message over and over again, and people would listen. Finally it ended in the destruction of (if I recall) Jerusalem. Yes. Doing Godâs will (in Jeremiahâs case) wasnât very easy. But it paid off. He was spared from the destruction by Godâs hand.Come to think of it, I saw a movie entitled Jeremiah. It was awesome. It was a very authentic and realistic interpretation. Much like Gospel of John was with the book of John. I really like movies made of Biblical events. It really ticks me off when itâs not accurate though. Accuracy is key when making a Biblical film.
Update: Here it is on Amazon.com, and Google...
I admit, Iâm rambling. Hopefully it makes sense and is meaningful thoughâŠ
Todayâs Quote:
"...The Truth can be your best friend, or your worst enemy. If you're willing to hear the Truth, it might hurt a little, but you'll come out ahead, you'll benefit. If you're encasing yourself in an illusion and running from the Truth... well, sooner or later it'll catch up to you and then the blow will be a lot more severe. You may not be able to pick up the pieces..." â Frank Perettiâs Prophet

A timely update
News: Disney wants some more National Treasure And frankly, I donât blame them! I checked it out, itâs true. Hereâs the imdb link.Update
Very soon, pending a few minor glitches, I will be regularly updating a blog exclusively about politics and current events.
On the new link, I was aware of this site in the past, but didnât visit it until recently. I saw it was a good site, hence the reason the link is on this site.

The Snowman Comic
Ok, about the comic. I must apologize in advance. The first three episodes, (at least in my opinion) are rather lame. However, after that they tend to get A LOT better. My explanation; I really didnât take it seriously till about the third episode.
The picture is a promotional wallpaper for the comic strip.

The end of an era
Well, the holidayâs are gone. (as in Christmas and New Years.) There is a certain disappointment at waiting another year for the season to come again, yet thereâs a certain gratefulness at once again returning to normal life. As in, at least for me, school.
The main thing I was reminded of in particular this holiday season is the good friends that I have. I am reminded of that line at the end of Itâs a Wonderful Life, âNo man is a failure who has friendsâ. I guess, at least for me, that means Iâm not a failure. Which is a good thing.
The picture is the first episode of my comic strip. More are on there way. Let me know what you think in the comments. Also, at the moment, the strip is nameless, which is bad. If you think of a name, email it to me via the contact page on addisontodd.com Also, all subsequent episodes will be posted at addisontodd.com/snowmanwar/
Iâll try to be updating more often. I know what a drag it is to visit a site hoping for an update and finding none. But, the pressures of the real world often keep me from cyberspace. Oh, from now on, when I add a link in the links section, Iâll post it like so:
