Overdue Update

I just went to Missouri Carrry’s annual picnic. What a blast! I got to shoot a .380 handgun, a twelve gauge shotgun, and I got to watch several hundred rounds of ammo shot on machine guns! Awesome. It was really cool! I really liked shooting the 380 handgun. So much so, in fact, that I’m now looking at buying one when I turn eighteen. From what I hear, they run around $200.00. Not bad at all. It’s a really popular gun for Concealed carry permit holders because it’s so small. I’ll try to look up a link on the net to a picture and a description. It’s really an awesome handgun. I’ll probably get one in the next two years or so, then when I turn twenty one, I’ll get a concealed carry permit so I can legally carry it.

Also, I haven’t posted to my site in a while, I guess that deserves an explanation. I just haven’t had the hankerin’ to post. I can tell by that “yeah right” look on your face that you’re not buying it. Okay, fine. I admit it. I was grounded off of my laptop, which is where I do most of my writing type stuff. So, nonetheless, I’m back. The laptop is not really powerful enough to much more than check email and do word processing. It’s rather convenient to write what I want and not be chained to my desktop, despite it’s considerably speedier than the laptop.

So, that’s what’s going on in the life of Addison Todd lately.

Pirates

Along the lines of Pirates of the Caribbean, I uploaded a wallpaper that I got off the net into one .ZIP file. Get it here, or also at the download page at addisontodd.com. It's about 817k so it'll take a while on dialup, but I rather think it's worth the wait. Also, depending on a number of factors, you may or may not hear music when you visit this site. Here's an idea, what if I were to redesign my site themed to Pirates of the Caribbean? It would take a lot of work... I think I could do it, I just don't know if I want to invest all that time for something I know is just a passing fad. I like it a lot, but in another month or so, I won't be as into it as I am now. Perhaps I'll set up a web poll about the issue.

Hurricane Katrina

For some reason, I'm having a really hard time grasping the enormity of the damage that hurricane Katrina caused. Perhaps it's just because I'm a cold heartless individual who has no concern for anyone but himself. Or perhaps it's because after one sees so much on TV, it ends up just going in one ear and out the other. From what I've seen though, it's a horrible mess. To see the latest news click on the black ribbon to the right at the bottom of the sidebar. Donate to help here. You could also help by ordering a rubber stamp from The Angel Company. All benefits go toward the hurricane relief effort. Contact my Mom to order the stamp.

On a much lighter note; I saw Pirates of the Caribbean for the first time last week. It's an excellent movie! I really liked the soundtrack. So much so in fact, that I bought it. It's a great classical score that ranks number one soundtrack in my book. My favorite character was Jack Sparrow. (Johnny Depp) He did a perfect job of playing Jack.
