How long to live?

Been listening alot to that Five For Fighting song, "100 Years". Partial lyric; "you only got a hundred years to live". You know, when you think about it, you don't even have a hundred years to live. Some of us might, some of us might not. It's been said before, but I think it deserves to be said again; we should live every day as if it were our last. I have seen this more and more, thanks to certain things in my life lately. I'm not going to go into detail...

When you think about it, there's so much pain in the world. Everyone that doesn't know Jesus has some form of pain, whether they care to admit it or not. Only Jesus can take away their pain. That brings to mind another song. It's a Ray Boltz song. Actually, it's Steve Green's song; Ray Boltz's variation. The title is People Need The Lord. I thought it was appropriate with these thoughts. I'm sure you can stream it somewhere; I'll try to hunt it up.

On another note, if you see a bunch of junk in my guest book at addisontodd.com, please know, I didn't put it there. For some reason, it's been victim to a lot of spammers lately. That goes for the shoutbox or the comments on this website. If there's a bunch of links, don't click 'em. I'll remove them ASAP.

Hangin' in there...

The holiday weekend...

Good Morning. Today I am rather sore. I played baseball and went swimming on Tuesday, went swimming on Wednesday, and today I'm less than ready to face the world. Well, like that or not, the world has faced me. My Mom left for Kansas City very early this morning. As in like, 6:15am I think . I wasn't actually awake. My dad woke me up when he left for work so I can watch the kids. Grandma is coming up later today, staying for the weekend, and leaving on Saturday morning, and coming back on Monday for the holiday. I'm kind of not ready for the holiday, but nonetheless, the holiday is here. I'll have to mow the lawn sometime before Monday, and I'm not looking forward to it. I just want to be lazy and do next to nothing; but life will not allow me too. The next few days will be fun, in that way... you know, when things are differant, and outside the norm. That's a good feeling. Mainly because with it comes that idea that your normal responsibilities can be placed on the back burner for awhile. ;-)

Addison Todd

Here I am, three bars on an open wifi network, 9:33 on a tuesday night... etc, etc, etc. Just lost a ballgame. I rather atribute our loss to the fact that I was really tired. I mowed a lawn today, and also swam for about an hour.
