I'm not going to say all that everyone else is saying. About how it's shocking, saddening, etc. I don't know what to say really. The pain caused by a short two hours is long lasting. Lifetime pain. Deep, searing wounds.

And, too often, the pain felt by those who knew the victims is a reflection of the pain felt by the shooter.

Actually the event fascinates me. It causes me to wonder why in the world someone would do something like this. What exactly would motivate someone to calmly, carefully plan a murderous rampage against people who have really not done them any harm.
I know, I know. Man's fallen. But I've got to wonder what was going on inside the shooter's head because I have to believe that I am capable of the same evil.
