The holiday weekend...
Good Morning. Today I am rather sore. I played baseball and went swimming on Tuesday, went swimming on Wednesday, and today I'm less than ready to face the world. Well, like that or not, the world has faced me. My Mom left for Kansas City very early this morning. As in like, 6:15am I think . I wasn't actually awake. My dad woke me up when he left for work so I can watch the kids. Grandma is coming up later today, staying for the weekend, and leaving on Saturday morning, and coming back on Monday for the holiday. I'm kind of not ready for the holiday, but nonetheless, the holiday is here. I'll have to mow the lawn sometime before Monday, and I'm not looking forward to it. I just want to be lazy and do next to nothing; but life will not allow me too. The next few days will be fun, in that way... you know, when things are differant, and outside the norm. That's a good feeling. Mainly because with it comes that idea that your normal responsibilities can be placed on the back burner for awhile. ;-)Posted by Addison on June 30, 2005 11:28 AM
