High Gas Prices
Why is everyone freaking out about gas prices? Here’s what going on here: The people are teed at the President because they think it’s his fault. Here’s what the deal is. Most of you that read this blog don’t remember the days of World War II. Neither do I. But I’ve read a lot about the era and seen lots of movies about the era. During wartime, there were rubber drives, aluminum drives; there was conservation of cotton, polyester, etc, etc, etc. Here’s what I’m saying; why can’t we do a gas conservation? The country is at war; we wouldn’t be conserving it for the war per se, it’s just a strike to let the economy know that we don’t want to pay that much for gas. I think that if we set aside one day every week where no one would buy gas, that would put a wrench in the plans of whoever it is over there that’s making a profit, and then he’d be forced to lower the price. Think about it this way, if I was selling, say, rubber ducks for $4.00 a piece. If the people that are buying my ducks end up deciding that $4.00 a piece is too much and they start to cut their buying, I’m forced to lower prices, or end up losing a lot more profit. The exact same thing would happen with gas prices. Tell ‘em we don’t want to pay that much and they’ll be forced to lower it or watch their numbers go down. Why is it that I seem to be the only one able to come up with this? And I’m just an idiot?Keep your stick on the ice,
